Young Ambassadors

Erin Richardson

Erin joined the Young Ambassadors team to explore gaining new and different skills. She regularly helps out with our social media and also enjoys being an Ambassador to develop peer youth-led projects.

Erin was referred to our Way2Work East Lothian service as she had disengaged from life and was suffering with anxiety. She was provided with a range of support before the Covid-19 pandemic and was supported to manage her anxiety during the pandemic. As a result, Erin managed to secure a job as a Childcare Practitioner.

Kerra Stewart

Kerra joined the Young Ambassador team as she wanted to help other young people. She also sees it as a great opportunity to have fun, make new friends and come out of her shell more.

Kerra received educational support from our Way2Work East Lothian service.

Dayle Stewart

Dayle decided to become a Young Ambassador because of her respect for the services Bridges Project provides to young people and because she wanted to help other young people.

Dayle has received support from Bridges Project to increase her understanding of different opportunities, herself and what she needs to prepare for the future. She says Bridges Project has also helped her become more confident.

Riley Newman

Riley became a Young Ambassador to give back to Bridges Project. After being supported by Bridges Project in the past, he wanted to make a difference for other young people and create new groups and projects to improve the field of support networks Bridges Project can provide to young people.

Riley received support from Bridges Project to get back into education and improve his health and wellbeing as a whole. He says Bridges Project changed his life and that he does not know where he would be now if I had not come across the charity.

Daena Robertson

Daena wanted to join the Young Ambassadors to support the work of Bridges Project.

Daena has received support from Bridges Project to receive employability support and is also currently working with the Young Carers service, as well as being a Peer Mentor for the Listening Peers service.
