Community Service Volunteers (CSV)CSV is a national organisation which provides volunteering opportunities for young people throughout the UK. If you think you would like to do some volunteering you can arrange a meeting to discuss what you would like to get out of it and where your interests lie.. They strive to find a placement that suits what you want to do - this may be 2 hours a week to 2 days to a full week, it all depends on what you want to do, the time you have available and what you're comfortable with. Project Scotland Volunteer - CatherineHaving been at Standard Life for 8 years I decided I wanted a change in career but wasn't sure how to go about it. Project ScotlandProject Scotland gives young people between the ages of 16 and 25 the opportunity to try out a full time volunteering placement for 3 months to a year with an allowance and travel expenses paid during that time. The opportunities are endless and they will try to find a placement that suits what you are after, it could be working on a farm, working with old people, setting up a website - you decide and they'll do the investigating!
