Basketball at Bridges
Today we were playing basketball at the new community centre at East Lothian Musselburgh. Gill told us the rules then we had some practice shots. We started the game of basketball and Reece's team won both games that we played. Gill and Catherine then picked the teams - Reece, Louise, Catherine and Sinatta on one team and Ian, Marc, Gill and Kyle on the other team.
The rules are that you can not run with the ball in your hands and if you pull or push anyone it is a foul. If it goes past the line the other team gets a throw in and if you stand in the box for three seconds the other team get to throw the ball in the net and if you are at the back of the court for ten seconds it is a foul. It was good fun but we were all pretty knackered after running about so we came back to the bridges project for some juice, crisps and a couple of rolls.
