Smoking Your Time Away

Bridges Project won the Crofton Award in 2010 and subsequently used the prize money to produce a new DVD called 'Smoking Your Time Away'. It was officially launched on Wednesday 14th March 2012 which was also 'No Smoking Day'
Six young people aged between 14 years and 20 years worked with staff from Bridges Project, Sorted and professional film maker David Barras to develop the theme and create a resource which could be relevant and appropriate for other young people in a variety of settings. They adopted jobs and roles including: script writing; research and storyboarding; acting; camera; sound; props and costume making.
The event was well attended by representatives from a range of agencies and organisations, as well as young people and parents. The film was well received and copies were handed out on the day. ASH Scotland have offered to host the film on their website and it should soon be available for viewing.
The event has made it onto the pages of East Lothian news; click here to see the article.
