Groupwork Programme

Bridges Project Bike Group

Bridges Project offers young people a wide variety of informal learning opportunities through activities, trips, visits, European exchanges and events. Young people are encouraged to be involved in the development of the programme.

All of these activities are provided in order to broaden young people’s horizons and to assist them in acquiring the skills for self reliance and employability. Such skills are categorised under the following headings: planning and organising, working with others, using initiative, leading, taking positive risks, learning, thinking critically and creatively and problem solving.

Examples of activities are:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Outdoor activities
  • Cooking
  • Music
  • Football
  • Fun Fitness
  • Yoga
  • Bike Maintenance
